Wynn Golf Club – Championship Golf in Downtown Las Vegas

Tom Fazio and Steve Wynn have created a masterpiece right in the middle of downtown Las Vegas. They created what was said could not be done, transform the flat ground where the celebrated  Desert Inn stood into a spectacular tree lined course with dramatic waterfalls, streams and perfectly manicured greens. To create the green and hillside elevations, 800,000 cubic yards of dirt were brought in.

It’s a demanding 18 hole, 7.042 yard par 70 course with 5 par 3 and 3 par 5 holes. Fairways are Bermuda and seasonal Rye overseed and greens carpeted with Penlinks Bent Grass. A pro is on site with a warm-up area and short game area. Rental clubs and carts are available.

To quote John DeMarco, Director of Travel & Tourism, Golf Channel Solutions,  "Playing golf at Wynn Las Vegas is truly a unique golf experience, mixing a bit of nostalgia from the Desert Inn Country Club as well as a modern day golf masterpiece.”
